winget-source

Manifests and deployment files for a private WinGet source, served by rewinged.

Use the source

Run once in an elevated terminal, with the URL where the source is hosted (WinGet requires HTTPS):

winget source add --name ps2 --arg https://<host>/api --type Microsoft.Rest
winget install ps2.ps2build --source ps2

Add a release

scripts/add-version.sh ps2.ps2build v2026.10.02 <windows exe url>
git add manifests && git commit && git push

The script downloads the file, computes its SHA256 and writes a portable-installer manifest. scripts/verify.sh (run in CI) rechecks every hash.

Host the source

docker compose up -d

rewinged listens on 127.0.0.1:8080. Put a reverse proxy with a TLS certificate in front of it and publish it as https://<host>/api. After a push, pull the manifests on the host. New and changed manifests are picked up live; removing a version needs a container restart.
